Work on hands-on, creative projects to benefit your local community as well as people in other parts of the world.
Choose from the following project areas:
- Gardening--making environmentally friendly seed containers, learning about indoor seed starting, and planting seeds for later transplant into our church garden and for distribution to clients at the Benevolent Society and Information Referral and Assistance.
- Woodworking—assembling bird houses for kids to take home as well as for community distribution.
- Sewing—learning some basic hand-sewing skills and making projects to be placed in Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.
- Crafts—braiding jump ropes from t-shirts and making colorful spinners for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.
